SongPop is a music trivia game available on mobile and Facebook. Players are challenged to identify the name and artist of popular songs from different genres and time periods. The game includes timed multiple-choice questions, and players can compete against friends or other SongPop users. Points and bonuses are awarded for correct answers and streaks, and the game features a vast library of songs from different eras and genres. SongPop is free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases available for additional features and song library expansion.
I worked at SongPop on two types of tasks:
UX design
This included designing UI, interactions, motion, and prototyping.
Visual Design
This included creating illustrations and animations for characters and environmental backgrounds.

I want to break down the progress of designing one of my tasks, which included:
⏺️ Themes 🖼️ Frames 😊 Stickers page UX and UI.
On SongPop, users can unlock new themes (referred to as "vinyl") by earning a currency called 🪙 Fragments through playing more games in specific music genres.
I made a component group as a secondary design system to have the all possible states, using for design and as a guid for developers.
here we have standard format of each cards and replaceable component for the showcase icon.
we have different states of cards, In progress, Ready to upgrade, Equipped and Locked (based on player’s level).
If you have a sufficient amount of a specific fragment, you can craft a vinyl. If you have already crafted one, you can upgrade it using hard currency (💎diamonds).
